Welcome!

Welcome to Exopolitics Atlanta! What is Exopolitics? As defined by Wikipedia, Exopolitics is the study of possible political relations between humanity and extraterrestrial civilizations, including political characteristics of extraterrestrial civilization. Although a relatively new discipline, it draws on hundreds of witness and experiencer accounts, many of which agree with each other. Exopolitics became prominent when quotes about direct sightings of alien craft by US astronaut Gordon Cooper, Apollo astronaut Dr. Brian O'Leary, former NASA (and Operation Paperclip) scientist Wernher Von Braun, former White House National Security officer Col. Phillip Corso, and others became widely known due to mainstream media reports on such subjects. The use of the term exopolitics may have begun within the community of ufology enthusiasts, some of whom claim that world governments are suppressing knowledge of an "extraterrestrial presence. Leading proponents are former American University (Washington DC) political scientist Michael Salla PhD, space activist Alfred Webre, and former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exopolitics

Former Canadian Minister of Defence Paul Hellyer talks about Bill Clinton, U.S. government policy, and Extraterrestrials at UFO conference

Preface:

Paul Hellyer speaking at the 4th X-Conference, Hilton Hotel in Gaithersburg Maryland, on 19 April 19 2008. The X Conference is sponsored by the Paradigm Research Group which is dedicated to disclosure on the truth about the extraterrestrial presence on earth, and the impact and effect of that presence on our lives, past, present and future. At this conference Paul Hellyer, founder of the Canadian Action Party, former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada, former Minister of Defence, and other cabinet positions in previous Canadian governments, was honoured with the award for political courage. George Noory, host of Coast to Coast talk radio, received the award for communications courage. Dr. Edgar Mitchell, astronaut who walked on the moon, received the award for intellectual courage. Dr Jesse Marcel, medical doctor whose father in the USA military collected the significant remnants from the Roswell 1947 UFO crash, received the Stargate award.

Paul Hellyer's presentation begins:

I wish I were in a mood for good humour, but I am not. We are hell-bent in the direction of destroying our planet, and we appear to be doing precious little about it. Decades ago visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed, and offered to help. But instead, we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions afterward. The inevitable result was that some of our planes were lost; but how many were due to retaliation, and how many were a result of our own stupidity is a moot point.

Wilbert Smith, one of the first Canadians to take an active interest in the subject of UFOs, asked the visitors about the accidental destruction of our aircraft by flying into the vicinity of a flying saucer. The response: we were informed that although a few of our aircraft had come to an unfortunate end by what they considered colossal stupidity of our pilots, they were now taking corrective measures to avoid our aircraft.

I asked them what happened, and they said, ‘Well, the fields around the saucers in order to hold them up, in order to produce the gravity differential, the time field differential which were necessary to operate the ship, these sometimes produced field combinations which reduced the strength of materials to the point where they were no longer strong enough to carry the load that the materials were expected to carry’.

Now, as we know, aircraft, particularly, the military type, are built with a rather small factor of safety, and in these regions of reduced binding, the materials are no longer strong enough to carry the load and the craft simply comes apart. This didn’t satisfy our military chiefs who must have thought that it was more important to secure American nuclear superiority-- even though using it would result in the annihilation of us all- than to take the hint and start moving the planet back from the brink of a global holocaust. They, the military, must have been and still are, so paranoid that they feel it necessary to use the visitors’ technology to fight them off, rather than welcome them as partners in development- though they may have seconded some renegades to assist in what can best be viewed as diabolical developments.

Stephen (Bassett) has said that talking about UFO’s is passé and that we should be talking about exo-politics. In theory, I agree, but in reality we have a problem when official U.S. policy insists that UFO’s don’t exist. The veil of secrecy must be lifted-and now, before it is too late.

It is ironic that the U.S. would begin a devastating war-allegedly in search of weapons of mass destruction- when the most worrisome developments in this field are occurring in your own back yard. It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan allegedly to bring democracy to those two countries when it, itself, can no longer legitimately claim to be called a democracy when trillions of dollars have been spent on projects about which both the Congress and the Commander-in-Chief have been deliberately kept in the dark.

How much has been accomplished in sixty years of feverish activity by some of the most highly educated minds in the U.S.? Has America developed flying saucers that are visually indistinguishable from the visitors, as alleged? And if so, what do they propose to do with them? Even more critical, what progress has been made in the development of clean energy sources that could replace fossil fuels and save the planet from becoming a veritable wasteland? Who has the answers? Someone does, but apparently they aren’t telling either secretaries of defence or presidents because they do not have a need to know.

In a story told by Dr. Stephen Greer, President (Bill) Clinton was asked a question by White House reporter Sarah McClendon about why he didn’t do something about UFO disclosure. Clinton replied, ‘Sarah, there is a government inside the government and I don’t control it’. Excuse me. Doesn’t the Commander-in-Chief and the person who allegedly has his finger on the nuclear trigger have a right to know what his subordinatess are doing? The people of the United States who have paid the bills have a right to know. The people of the world demand to know because it is our descendants, too, whose lives are in mortal jeopardy.
It is time for the people of the U.S. to launch a new war against the evil of lies, deceit, and darkness, and go all out to win the victory of truth, transparency, and light.”

PRG Press Release - Billy Cox

The Paradigm Research Group recently added a Billy Cox page to it's website. Mr. Cox is a journalist for the Herald Tribune in Sarasota, FL. Given the fact that other journalists have seen their careers jepordized by discussing these issues (ie, Angelia Joiner), I commend Billy Cox for the courage it takes to discuss these issues openly and honestly. Below is a copy of the PRG Press Release announcing the new page.

Washington, DC – PRG has published a new webpage on its site dedicated to the reporting of journalist Billy Cox. No reporter at any newspaper in any nation has written more competently or comprehensively on the many issues surrounding extraterrestrial-related phenomena. He received the PRG Courage in Journalism Award in 2005.
See: www.paradigmresearchgroup.org/PRG_Awards.htm

A partial linked listing of his relevant articles and blogs is now archived at:
www.paradigmresearchgroup.org/Billyl_Cox_Reportage.htm As the most significant news story in history begins to unfold at an ever increasing pace, Pulitzer Prize possibilities abound. But any reporter or editor who wants a piece of that action will have to pedal very hard if they want to get out in front of Billy Cox.

Letter: Aliens are here — and they are truly green!

This is a letter written by Victor Viggiani to the Canadian National Post. It was recently published on their website.

Posted: May 15, 2008, 1:47 PM by Paul Russell

On Wednesday the National Post carried an article about how the British government has finally released files about two decades of investigations into UFO sightings. While the Brits dismiss 90% of possible sightings as having "mundane explanations," they do admit 10% can't be readily explained. That sparked this letter from Exopolitics Toronto, a "not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to inform and fully disclose to the citizens of Canada the facts about UFOs, extraterrestrial visitations, and classified advanced energy and propulsion systems."

— Paul Russell, NP letters editor

It is with great admiration that Exopolitics Toronto congratulates the National Post for covering the recent release of UFO files by the British government. While it is a momentous occasion that the National Post brings the news of the UFO/ET reality to Canadians, there are two even more important reasons for this issue to be more fully engaged by the paper.

First, the 60 year long secrecy surrounding this matter upheld mainly by the American government is coming to an end. This curtain of secrecy has kept hidden the fact we are indeed part of universe teeming with intelligent life that is able to travel here. All of the British data, if investigated shows this clearly. But the most significant reason is that the fuel sources used to propel their craft is a clean, plentiful and yes, free energy source derived from the quantum vacuum of space. Extraterrestrial civilizations that have perfected this type of energy system are clearly visiting us — in droves. The recently released French and Brazilian UFO files further demonstrate that other governments are willing to acknowledge that over ten percent of all sighting reports cannot be explained. Now the British Ministry of Defense -- a powerful terrestrial voice -- gives all of us cause to ponder the ET reality.

In the face of what we know governments have in secrecy files about previous contact with Extraterrestrials, we are faced with the knowledge that the energy sources used by these civilizations will ultimately be the relief the planet needs from the economic and environmental devastation of fossil fuels. Readers and all proactive journalists must realize that big oil interests and government secrecy about the UFO/ET issue are the two causes of a soon to come, $180.00 a barrel for oil. ET energy sources derived from eventual contact will allow the planet, humans and our pocketbooks to breathe a little easier.

All of the research indicates that Black Budget government operations beyond the oversight of elected officials are aware of and have experimented with the elementary dynamics of this free energy. The Press has to start asking the government the tough questions about all of these issues. Who are the brave in the media to inaugurate a Cosmic Watergate to let us all in on the truth behind the curtain?

Russian Muslims and Jews admit existence of UFO-people

Moscow, May 15, Interfax – Islamic teaching admits extraterrestrial intelligence, the Muftis’ Council of Russia representative stated.

“According to the Holy Koran, the Almighty speaks about creation of various worlds. We know the world of people, jinns, plants and animals. Perhaps, we don’t know everything. The Creator can create anything. Other creatures may inhabit the worlds out of our reach,” the chairman of the international department of the Muftis’ Council Rushan Abbyasov was quoted as saying by the Moskovsky Komsomolets daily on Thursday.

He cited a Koran’s sura saying “Praise Allah, the Lord of the worlds!” and noted that thus the holy Muslim Book confirmed “that other civilizations may exist.”

“As to the question whether aliens bear original sin or not, there is no notion of original sin in Islam. In fact, the Koran says that if a baby dies, it goes right to the paradise because it is pure and innocent,” Abbyasov said.

Rabbi Zinovy Kogan said that “the Lord is the first cause for everything existing in micro and macro worlds.”

“It couldn’t be excluded that other creatures similar to man exist in other worlds,” he stressed.

The Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations secretary for inter-Christian affairs Fr. Igor Vyzhanov noted that the question of UFO-people existence had nothing to do with Christian dogmatics as it considered the question of saving human soul.

“I think that both Orthodox and Catholic theologians, if asked, will split up. Some will say: existing of extraterrestrial life is possible, how can we deny God’s creative power. The others will say that the earthy life is unique. Though this question is absolutely insignificant for the Church, it’s not even a scientific question, but just idle curiosity,” the priest concluded.

British Government releases UFO files

By Graham Tibbetts

The most comprehensive Government files on UFO activity are opened to the public for the first time today and they disclose that even air traffic controllers and police officers have seen mysterious craft in the skies over Britain.

The sightings range from incredible tales of little green men visiting the Wirral to corroborated accounts from policemen and pilots of Unidentified Flying Objects hovering above towns and cities.

All are recorded on official forms, held by air bases and police stations, and compiled by the Ministry of Defence between 1978 and 2002.

Disclosed for the first time is a report from three experienced air traffic controllers who attempted to "talk in" a UFO which landed on the runway before them. The incident occurred on April 19, 1984, at an East Anglian airfield which was operating two runways called 22 and 27.

Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens

By ARIEL DAVID – 16 hours ago

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Believing that the universe may contain alien life does not contradict a faith in God, the Vatican's chief astronomer said in an interview published Tuesday.

The Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory, was quoted as saying the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones.

"How can we rule out that life may have developed elsewhere?" Funes said. "Just as we consider earthly creatures as 'a brother,' and 'sister,' why should we not talk about an 'extraterrestrial brother'? It would still be part of creation."

In the interview by the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Funes said that such a notion "doesn't contradict our faith" because aliens would still be God's creatures. Ruling out the existence of aliens would be like "putting limits" on God's creative freedom, he said.

The interview, headlined "The extraterrestrial is my brother," covered a variety of topics including the relationship between the Roman Catholic Church and science, and the theological implications of the existence of alien life.

Funes said science, especially astronomy, does not contradict religion, touching on a theme of Pope Benedict XVI, who has made exploring the relationship between faith and reason a key aspect of his papacy.

The Bible "is not a science book," Funes said, adding that he believes the Big Bang theory is the most "reasonable" explanation for the creation of the universe. The theory says the universe began billions of years ago in the explosion of a single, super-dense point that contained all matter.

But he said he continues to believe that "God is the creator of the universe and that we are not the result of chance."

Funes urged the church and the scientific community to leave behind divisions caused by Galileo's persecution 400 years ago, saying the incident has "caused wounds."
In 1633 the astronomer was tried as a heretic and forced to recant his theory that the Earth revolved around the sun. Church teaching at the time placed Earth at the center of the universe.

"The church has somehow recognized its mistakes," he said. "Maybe it could have done it better, but now it's time to heal those wounds and this can be done through calm dialogue and collaboration."

Pope John Paul declared in 1992 that the ruling against Galileo was an error resulting from "tragic mutual incomprehension."

The Vatican Observatory has been at the forefront of efforts to bridge the gap between religion and science. Its scientist-clerics have generated top-notch research and its meteorite collection is considered one of the world's best.

The observatory, founded by Pope Leo XIII in 1891, is based in Castel Gandolfo, a lakeside town in the hills outside Rome where the pope has a summer residence. It also conducts research at an observatory at the University of Arizona, in Tucson.
